3.For those of us who are studying at school, the time of exams is very stressful and difficult. Some people find exam times so bad that they become ill, because they are afraid of failing;they are afraid of letting their parents and family down. If exams are really making you ill or worried, don't hide your feelings. Talk to someone about it. Maybe you can speak to a friend,or someone in your family,or teachers at your place of study. If one person doesn't help you,ask someone else.
How to get through exams? Here are some advice:
Ask a teacher or tutor about how to review your lessons, and exam skills-how to work when you are in an exam.
Take short rests during your time of work. If your mind is tired,it will not remember well.
Plan your work:study at times when you know you will work at your best.
Get enough sleep, and eat healthy food.
You need exercise to work well. Walk, run, play sports-whatever you enjoy.
Stop thinking about the future and failing.
If you feel ill, talk to someone about your worries. But don't be too relaxed! 4. Some stress over exams makes you work hard for them.
If it upsets you to talk to your friends about an exam when it is finished, don't do it! In fact, don't even think about the exam you have finished. What is done is done. You cannot change what you have written!
    To this advice,we could add:
If you are studying in the evening, don't go straight to bed. Your mind will still be  "going round and round"-thinking too much. Do something else, maybe walk or get exercise. Choose something that will relax you,and make you think of other things.

Soon computers and other machines will be able to remember you by looking at your eyes! The
programme works because everyone's eyes are different. So in the future you won't have to remember a
number when you want to use a machine or take money out of a bank. You'll just have to look at the
machine and it will be able to tell who you are.
The eye-recognition (眼睛識別) programme is already being tested in shops and banks in the USA,
Britain, Spain, Italy and Turkey. Soon, this technology (技術(shù)) will take the place of(取代)all other
ways of finding out who people are.
However, scientists are working on other systems (系統(tǒng)). Machines will soon be able to know you
from the shape of your face or hand or even your smell! We already have machines that can tell who you
are from your voice or the mark made by your finger.
Eye-recognition is better than other kinds because your eyes don't change as you get older, or get dirty like hands or fingers. And even twins have different eyes, so the programme can be up to 94% correct,
depending on how good the technology is. Some programmes may only be right  51% of the time. In
Britain, it was found that 91% of people who had tried it said that they liked the idea of eye-recognition.
In the future your computer will be looking you in the eye. So smile!
1. How does the eye-recognition programme work?
A. You write your number.
B. You show your ID card.
C. You look at the machine.
D. You say your name.
2. Why can the programme be up to 94% correct?
A. Because eyes never change.
B. Because hands or fingers can get dirty.
C. Because people like the idea of the programme.
D. Because the programme is widely used around the world.
3. Which of the following is true?
A. The programme is being tested in Japan.
B. Machines with other systems can also tell who you are.
C. 91%of people like the idea of the programme.
D. Computers can remember you by looking at your clothes.
4. What does Paragraph 4 talk about?  .
A. Introduction to other kinds of programmes.
B. Advantages of the programme.
C. The places where the programme is tested.
D. The way how the programme works

根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容,判斷下列句子正(T)誤(F)。
Nowadays, more and more schools in China make rules making students wear school uniforms to school.
Parents and teachers think it will make a better learning environment at school, but some students don't like
their school uniforms. So, what are school uniforms like in other parts of the world?
In Japan, boys in middle school wear uniforms called "gakuran" which have dark jackets with stand-up
collars and pants. Girls, on the other hand, wear uniforms called "sailor fuku", which look like European naval
(海軍) uniforms.
Most schools in England require students to wear school uniforms. Boys need to wear long grey or black
pants, white shirts and school ties. Girls have the same clothes as boys, but they can wear skirts or summer
school dresses during the summer term. In the UK, uniforms were the custom throughout most of the 20th
Century, but now more and more public schools stop requiring students to wear uniforms. They think
uniforms make students lose their personalities (個性).
For children in many African countries, school uniforms can be a kind of pride, or a huge financial burden
(經(jīng)濟負(fù)擔(dān)). Many children have only one uniform, and that may be all the clothes they have.
In a word, love it or hate it, school uniform is a part of growing up for children around the world so you'd
better enjoy your school uniform and your school life.
(     )1. The author introduces school uniforms of different countries to prove it  is a part of
            growing up for children.
(     )2. In Japan, teenagers all wear uniforms which are like European naval uniforms.
