　　Oxford is a interesting old city in English．It is about 80 kilometres from London．No one knows how old it is! It is very famous for is university and its historical(有歷史意義的)buildings．There are more than 900 historical buildings in Oxford．

　　After the war she returned to England in 1856, and was honored for her services by Queen Victoria．But Florence said that her work had just begun．She raised money to build the Nightingale Home(療養(yǎng)院)for Nurses in London．She also wrote a book on public health, which was printed in several countries．

　　She died at the age of ninety, still trying to serve others through her work as a nurse．In fact, it is because of her that we honor nurses today．
