It was Mother's Day. He was driving his new car and he saw the colorful flower shop along the road,
he stopped his car, got out and took a closer look at some of the flowers on display.
He thought about his loving mother who lived two hundred miles away. He chose some pink roses
and asked the shopkeeper to post them to his mother at the same day. Just before he got into his car, he
noticed a small, cute girl standing next to the shop. She was counting the money in her hand. She seemed
a little upset.
He went up to her and asked, "Can I help you?"
She replied in a sad voice, "I want to buy some red roses for my mother. But I don't have enough
money."
He smiled and bought some red roses for her. While leaving the shop, he offered her a ride. She
showed him the way, which finally led to a cemetery. She got off his car, gave him a hug (擁抱) and
said, "Thank you, Uncle." Then she ran to her mother's grave (墳墓).
The man was speechless for a minute. He drove back to the same flower shop at once. He took the
pink roses and drove two hundred miles to meet his beloved mother.
He handed over the flowers to his mother, gave her a big hug and said, "I love you, Mama."
His mother was very excited.
