born in 1940 in San Francisco, California. But months after his birth, his family moved back to Hong
Kong. He began to practice kung fu there because he was weak. Soon he showed great talent for kung
fu and became famous in Hong Kong. Then he went to the USA. There he majored in philosophy in a
university, but he didn't give up kung fu. Instead, he tried his best to practice kung fu, exchanged(變換)

He created a new kind of kung fu and let the westerners pay more attention to it. He combined his
thoughts with his kung fu perfectly. He performed so well that he made himself one of the most popular
actors in Hollywood. Since then Bruce Lee has been a well-known star all over the world. But what
impressed people most was his national pride in his films and his life.
