       Xia Fengting is a girl who lost her right hand in the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake. She and 49 other
disabled students from Dujiangyan,aged between 10 and 14,who were also injured in the Wenchuan
earthquake,visited Expo 2010 Shanghai from May 7 to 12 because of the help from the Dujiangyan
Love and Education Fund(愛心教育基金會).
       Xia Fengting,an ll-year-old girl, loves  to  paint  very much.  "I am drawing a picture of the China
Pavilion (展館) to show my classmates how beautiful the Expo is,"said Xia. After she lost her right hand
in the 2008 Wechuan earthquake,lots of people didn't only work hard ather physical(生理) health but
also at the mental health. She leamed to write,draw and use chopsticks with her left hand. She worked
so hard that Xia won her first award for a painting she did with her left hand at the age of 10. Now she
has won several awards exhibiting her work and dreams of becoming an artist.
       One pavilion at the Shanghai Expo is the Life and Sunshine Pavilion(生活陽光展館 ) . It is the first
pavilion especially designed for the disabled in the 159 years of Expo history. And it makes people know more about the disabled and see the bright future of them. China has more than 83 million disabled people,about 6.4 % of the population all over our country.

  Though chopsticks are used in many Asian countries. they have their beginnings in China. Chinese history says that the Chinese had chopsticks as far as the Xia Dynasty (朝代) (about 4, 000 years ago) In the Spring and Autumn period (時期)copper and iron chopsticks appeared .
