　　Jackie Chan was born on April 7 th, 1954, in Hong Kong, China．His parents left the mainland of China for Hong Kong a short time before he was born．His parents named him“Chen Gangsheng”, which means“born in Hong Kong”．They wanted to celebrate the safe trip to Hong Kong．
