What should we do to protect the environment?

【答案】例文

We need a healthy environment, but we produce waste and pollute it. What should we do to protect it? Here I want to talk about what we can do.

First, we should do something to reduce pollution. For example, when we go to school, we can walk or ride our bikes rather than take a car. When traveling, we shouldn't litter rubbish on the ground.

Second, we should try to save materials and energy. When we don't use the lights, we should turn them off. When we brush our teeth, we should turn off the tap.

Third, the best way to improve our environment is to plant trees. So we should plant as many trees as possible.

Our environmental problems are serious these days. We must take action immediately. If we start to do something now, our environment will get better and better.

【題目】 We cannot remember clearly since when we have started to take our mobiles to a dinner table. This happens a lot, especially when we eat out. Once a dish comes, instead of lifting our chopsticks, we take out our mobiles and click (咔噠). Later, we post the photos onto microblog or WeChat, waiting to be liked. Then we check our mobiles from time to time during the meal to see whether we get “l(fā)iked” or not. We just cannot leave our mobiles for only a meal.

Does that sound familiar (熟悉的) to you? Do you do that often? If not, how do you feel when others do that when having dinner with you?
