chickens to himself, gave the other to his wife, and said, "I will have one of the chickens myself, your mother
shall have another, and you can have the third for your supper and nothing else." The father kept his words and
so his son went without his supper.

那兩年,逢年過節(jié),養(yǎng)魚的蔡婆總要給我家送幾條新鮮的魚來。我有點(diǎn)討厭父親,集市上什么魚都有,為什么父親偏偏喜歡蔡婆的魚呢? 我問蔡婆,你咋知道我爸爸喜歡吃你家的魚哩?蔡婆說,你爸爸呀,是個(gè)饞貓,為了吃我的魚,每天晚上敲我的門。父親真沒出息。
父親在鎮(zhèn)里的一家工廠上班,兩班倒。但父親很少上白班。父親每天晚上從鎮(zhèn)里回來,要翻過一面坡,再翻過一面坡,七八里路,上坡下梁地要走半天。就在那兩面坡中間,有一塊洼地,蔡婆的魚塘就在那里。
