I will never forget that unusual experience on that night. I was so tired after losing my job. I was getting ready to go to bed when the phone rang. This could not be good. I thought that maybe one of my family members who might need help, but the voice was hardly familiar*.

We were struggling to buy groceries, yet it was not something we shared with anyone. However, our needs were met in an unexpected way, by that call, “Do you have room for a turkey?” The next day, I was surprised to find out that Lesley’s groceries store was still open, in fact, the lease was not true.
