On Sundays, brunchis a combination(結(jié)合)of breakfast and lunch, and it always begins at 1100 am. Students often enjoy astudy breakor evening snack around 1000 or 1100 pm.

In the U. S. A., breakfast and lunch are light meals, with only one course(菜). Dinner is the main meal.

For breakfast, some Americans usually eat bread with jam or butter, and drink milk or orange juice. Some like eating fried eggs, fried potatoes and breakfast meat such as sausages. Lunch is more colorful to most Americans. Because the time is too short to go home for lunch. Most people take lunch with them from home, or have it in cafeterias.
