The rise of the Emoji(表情符號(hào))

Happy, angry, amazed－these are some of the emotions we like to express these days when we’re sending a message on our mobile phones. We’re also using them as a quick way of telling someone how we’re f【1】. Yes, emojis have become a very important tool for communication.

Let’s clear one thing up first－there are emojis and emoticons. The latter are little images which are made using normal keys on a keyboard. But as technology has improved, many images have been created and they can be simply a【2】to your messages, which is great!

I rushed down the rocks and jumped into the pool, but I don’t remember doing it. I was just so happy to be free from the pain. I was safe, and the water felt wonderful.

But we still weren’t out of danger. Every time we tried to climb out of the pool, the bees flew back over our heads. We spent the next three hours in the water, putting our heads under the water from time to time to avoid the bees until they finally lost interest.
