People are playing video games everywhere these days, whether they're riding a bus or sitting in a restaurant. Some of them enjoy these games so much that they can't put them down. But is this a healthy habit? The World Health Organization (WHO) doesn't think so. In June, it recognized“ gaming disorder(障礙)” as a mental disorder in its International Classification of Diseases, CNN reported.
"Gaming disorder means continuous or repeated video-gaming behavior, whether online or offline. Of course, not everyone who plays video games has this disorder. It has three main signs.
The first sign is when the player loses control over his or her gaming habits. The second is when playing games becomes more important than other activities for the player. The third is when the condition leads to serious problems in the player's personal and family life.
In fact, some countries are already working to solve this problem. South Korea has introduced a law banning (A iE) children under 16 from playing online games between midnight and 6 a.m., USA Today reported. Chinese tech company Tencent is also setting limits on the amount of time that teenagers can play its games. Children between 12 and 18 years old can only play two hours every day.
If you have “gaming disorder", you should ask for professional medical (E 7) help. But if your condition is not that serious, you don’t have to see a doctor. You can use delayed satisfaction to deal with it.
For example, if you want to play video games on weekdays, you can wait to play them during the weekend for three hours. Or if you really want to play them after school, you can tell yourself that you cannot do so until you have finished your homework.

根據(jù)“The first sign is when the player loses control over his or her gaming habits.” 可知,選項(xiàng)B是有“游戲障礙”的人;根據(jù)“The second is when playing games becomes more important than other activities for the player.” 可知,選項(xiàng)C是有“游戲障礙”的人;根據(jù)“The third is when the condition leads to serious problems in the player's personal and family life.” 因此只有選項(xiàng)A person who loves playing video games with his friends. 故選A。
根據(jù)“You can use delayed satisfaction to deal with it.”聯(lián)系下文,“For example…you can tell yourself that you cannot do so until you have finished your homework”可知,作者是通過舉例子對(duì)劃線部分進(jìn)行解釋,因此劃線部分的意思應(yīng)該是:延遲滿足。故選A。
根據(jù)“Children between 12 and 18 years old can only play two hours every day.” 12到18歲的孩子每天只能玩兩個(gè)小時(shí)? 因此選項(xiàng)C正確;A選項(xiàng)文中沒有提及;根據(jù)“South Korea has introduced a law banning (A iE) children under 16 from playing online games between midnight and 6 a.m., USA Today reported.” 因此選項(xiàng)B錯(cuò)誤;根據(jù)“If you have “gaming disorder”, you should ask for professional medical (E 7) help.”

【題目】 One day a professor(教授)entered the classroom and asked his students to prepare for a test. The students waited nervously at their desks, the professor began to hand out the papers. To everyone's surprise, there were no questions, just a black dot(點(diǎn))in the center of the page.

However, we keep focusing only on the dark dots, such as the health problems, the family arguments, the disagreements with friends and so on.”
