【題目】 A study led by the Barcelona Institute for Global Health shows for the first time that exposure(接觸)to green space during childhood may have beneficial(有益的)effects on brain development.
The study was performed among 253 schoolchildren from the BREATHE project in Barcelona (Spain). Lifelong exposure to green space in the living places was recorded—using the satellite—based information on the children's addresses from birth up through to the time of the study. Brain structure was studied using 3D MRI(核磁共振圖像). Working memory and inattentiveness were graded with computers.
The primary schoolchildren who have been raised in homes surrounded by more greenspace tend to present with larger volumes of white and grey matter in certain areas of the brain. These differences are connected with beneficial effects on cognitive function(認(rèn)知功能). Moreover, larger volumes of white and grey matter might lead to better working memory and less inattentiveness.
"This is the first study that shows the connection between long—term exposure to green space and brain structure." Says, the leading researcher of the study, "Our findings suggest that exposure to green space early in life could result in beneficial structural changes in the brain. It also shows the lasting effects of early life exposure to greenness on our health."
This study also suggests that it is beneficial to increase greenness in cities. Green space can provide children with chances for psychological restoration(心理康復(fù))and prompt important exercises in discovery, creativity and risk taking. These exercises in turn positively(肯定地)influence different aspects of brain development. What's more, greener areas often have lower levels of air pollution, which could bring indirect benefits for brain development.
Anyway, further studies are needed to prove the findings in other populations, settings and climates. And researchers need to examine differences according to the nature and quality of green space.
【1】The second paragraph is mainly about ________.
A.how the study was carried outB.what was recorded in the study
C.how long the study lastedD.who took part in the study
【2】The word "prompt" in Paragraph 5 probably means " ________".
A.controlB.encourageC.balanceD.change
【3】What can we learn from the passage?
A.Working memory influences white and grey matter in the brain.
B.Dr. Dadvand stressed the importance of changing the environment.
C.This study proved the influence of greenness on populations outside of Spain.
D.Larger volumes of white and grey matter might lead to better working memory.
【4】What is the best title of the passage?
A.The greener space children grow up in, the longer they live.
B.Growing up in the green area may do good to brain development.
C.Early life exposure to greenness may have lasting effects on health.
D.More outdoor green space leads to a greater increase in inattentiveness.

【題目】 Protect Personal Information During Shopping SeasonsU.S. customers are worried about their personal ID information during the holiday season, according to a research by Discover. Here are some simple tips to protect your personal information.
Be aware of surroundings. The Identity Theft Resource Center says 43%of identity theft comes from a stolen wallet, credit card, or other things. During the crowded holiday shopping, keep an eye on your bags and pockets and always pay attention to what's happening around you.
Be careful of unsafe Wi-Fi networks. If you use a free network in the coffee shop, other users on the network can get what you see and what you send. Then, most of your personal information will be caught by others. Experts suggest using a virtual private network (VPN) instead of the public networks and try to change the settings on your mobile device so it can't connect to nearby public Wi-Fi without your permission(許可).
Please think carefully about providing your information. Mobile shopping Apps are convenient, but they can store your name, address, phone number, email, and other personal information. Look for Apps that can clearly show you about how they keep your data safe. Never provide secret information tied to your identity, like your Social Security num ber or bank account number.

【題目】 Refrigerators are widely used in our kitchens. Do you often clean your refrigerator? If you haven't cleaned it for a long time, clean it right away. Refrigerators need to be cleaned very often. Do you know how to clean a refrigerator?
1.Take all the food out of your refrigerator. Place it on a table or counter so that your refrigerator is completely emptied out.The best time for this may be before your weekly shopping tip. There will be fewer things that you need to move out of your refrigerator.
2.Throw out some items. You can check the expiration date(有效期). Then you will know which items should be thrown out. You can also throw away items that you are unlikely to use. If no one in your family likes olives, throw them away.
3.Take out shelves, drawers or other movable parts from your refrigerator and wash them, In order to wash them more quickly, you can place them near the kitchen sink(洗碗槽). For a quick clean, you don't have to take out all shelves. You'd better do it if you want a deep clean.
4. Clean the inside of the refrigerator. You can clean it with a clean cloth. A dry cloth will be a better choice. Don't forget to clean the inside of the refrigerator door. If there is something dirty that is not easy to clean, you can use a chemical cleaner.

【題目】 Chinese buyers used to like foreign brands, thinking that products made by American or European companies are of higher quality than Chinese ones. Increasingly, that's no longer the case.
Chinese people born before 1985 generally think that foreign brands are better than Chinese ones, billionaire William Li told Business Insider(商業(yè)內(nèi)幕) during a recent interview on CCTV9.
But for those who were born after 1985, it is a different picture.
"When I first went to the United Kingdom in 1997, I thought that the difference between China and Europe was quite big," Li said. "But for those born in the 1990s, when they visit Europe or the US, they do not think there is a big difference."
The change in thinking among Chinese buyers is showing up in many markets in China where Western companies used to control. A study by Credit Suisse(瑞士信貸)published(發(fā)表) in March found that young Chinese buyers are increasingly showing a "home brand bias(偏愛)” .
More than 90% of young Chinese buyers would prefer to buy home appliance(設(shè)備) brands, according to the study. Meanwhile, home companies producing food, drinks, or personal care products increased their share of the market by 3.3% over the last ten years to nearly 70%.
"Chinese buyers, especially the younger ones, don't just believe that foreign brands are better.
Right now, Chinese buyers think China is good and ' Made in China' is not bad at all," Charlie Chen, head of China buyer research at Credit Suisse, told South China Morning Post in March.
The Chinese smartphone market is controlled by home companies—Huawei, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi. Apple is the only foreign brand in the top five, but it has lost large ground to the home brands in recent years. Its market share is believed to be down to 37%from a 2015 high of 54%.
【1】The underlined word “share” in the passage means________ in Chinese.
A.分享B.份額C.分擔(dān)

C.More and more Chinese people prefer Chinese products.
【5】What's the best title for this passage?
A.Chinese products get more popular at home.
