Here is the result. 25% of the students chose to help clean up the parks in the community. 30% of the students spent their weekends visiting sick children in the hospital. Nearly half of the students went to old people's home to visit the old people there.

Last Sunday, I went to old people's home with my friends Lucy and Sam. We cleaned the rooms for the old people and told them many interesting things in our school. They told us stories about the past and how things used to be. Lucy and I are both good at singing, so we sang for them. They were so happy and sang along with us. An old grandpa also taught us how to play kung fu. Sam likes telling jokes and his jokes made the old people laugh happily. It was a really meaningful Sunday.

In a word, volunteering is really a great experience for us. We can get such a strong feeling of satisfaction from helping others.
