【答案】He would rather live in the country than make a living in the city.
【解析】
他he,人稱代詞主格,作主語;寧可……也不愿意……would rather do…than do…;住live;在鄉(xiāng)下in the country;在城市里in the city;謀生make a living;整理之后可以看出,句子主語是he,謂語would rather,賓語是省略了不定式的結(jié)構(gòu)live;故答案為He would rather live in the country than make a living in the city.

【題目】 A month before my first marathon, one of my ankles (踝關(guān)節(jié)) was injured and this meant not running for two weeks, leaving me only two weeks to train. Yet, I decided to go ahead.
I remember back to my 7th year in school. In my first P. E. class, the teacher required us to run and hit a softball. I didn't do either well. He later told me that I was "not athletic".
The idea that I was "not athletic" stuck with me for years. When I started running in my 30s, I realized running was a battle against myself. It was all about the battle against my own body and mind. It was a test of wills.
The night before my marathon, I dreamt that I couldn't even find the finish line. I woke up sweating (出汗) and nervous, but ready to prove something to myself.
The next day, the Marathon started.
At mile 3, I passed a sign: "GO FOR IT, RUNNERS!"
By mile 17, I became out of breath and the once injured ankle hurt badly.
By mile 21, I was quite hungry. As I approached mile 23, I could see my wife waving a sign. She is my biggest fan.
I was one of the final runners to finish. But I finished. And I got a medal. In fact, I got the same medal as the guy who came in first place had.
Determined to be myself, move forward, free of shame and worldly labels (世俗標(biāo)簽). I can now call myself a "marathon winner".

【題目】 One day at the beginning of this new term, I planned to go to the supermarket for daily use. As we got up late, I put on a deep shade of blue coat and a pair of loose white trousers at will. Then we were on our way.
While we were about to cross an overbridge, two pupils about 6 to 10 years old caught our attention. One of them said to me, “Good morning, Aunt! Thanks for your supporting the traffic rules. Please keep it up!” She gave me a red flower. Though there’s something uncomfortable, facing such a lovely girl and fresh flower, I didn’t think a lot.
In the supermarket, when I lined up waiting to pay the bill, two boys more than 17 years old came up to me and said, “Aunt, may I borrow your membership card?”...(A few seconds)
Stop! There’s something wrong. Oh my god! “Aunt”, the same word again! I was about to snarl(咆哮), but I held it. I smiled and asked them with my softest voice, “Why did you call me ‘Aunt’?” He didn’t answer.
In my deep heart, I had an impulse(沖動(dòng)) to tell him aloud that I’m only 20 years old and I’m a golden-aged girl like a beautiful flower. I turned to my roommate and complained about it. She laughed loudly for a few minutes. “Look at yourself, your womanly curly hair (Ha ha), your womanly clothes. You’re nothing but an ‘Aunt’ !(Ha ha)”
I drooped(垂落) my head.
