這種情況下，整個句子沒有出現(xiàn)副詞，或者說雙方都知道修飾的副詞或形容詞，被感嘆的部分十分明確。從語法結(jié)構(gòu)來說，這時的“How”則是修飾動詞了。例如：
How he studies!
他學習多努力呀！
How they are working at the desk!
他們在書桌旁工作多認真呀！
