It is a Chinese traditional holiday with hundreds of years’ history. For Chinese, the moon is a symbol of many good things. The character, moon, is often used to name places and people. Some great poets, such as Li Bai, used the moon to express their ideas about love for family. To be the most important, the Mid-Autumn Festival is a great time for family reunion. My favorite part of the Mid-Autumn Festival is that I can enjoy mooncakes and appreciate the moon with my family. This festival, my grandparents could not stay with us because they were in the USA with my uncle’s family. But they wrote letters to me showing their deep love for me.
