Chinese Cuisine（烹飪） in the World

She is a restaurant owner in Cape Town, South Africa. She has two restaurants-Red Chamber and Pron. Both of them are very popular with customers. She believes that food is not only a business, but also means passing down of culture and customs. Her cuisine comes from Shandong Province in Northern China.

Luckily, he was finally accepted and welcomed by a Chinese master cook. So he spent eight years with him in learning the secrets of Hunan cuisine. Now his restaurant is one of the best places to eat Chinese food in Rome, Italy.

He owns a restaurant in San Gabriel Valley in America, which has become a foodie Mecca（美食圣地） for the world's top Chinese food. He believes Chinese food is the power to teach people Chinese culture. "Who knew where Chengdu or Chongqing was before? Going and checking out food is a lot of fun. It is also an activity of telling ourselves and the public about Chinese culture."

The way to see water's temperature

Here's how to tell whether a glass contains（容納）hot water or cold water-without ever touching it！

You'll need

2 drinking glasses that are exactly alike

Ice cubes（塊）

Adult helper

Bathtub（浴缸）or shower

Pencil and paper

1.Fill one glass with cold tap water and cool it with ice cubes. Don't use a lot of ice; just cool it a little.

2.Fill the other glass with very hot water.

3.Pour both glasses out into the tub at the same tirme and speed.

Repeat this process（過程）a fewtimes，and watch closely each time.

4.Ask your helper to fill the glasses again and not tell you which is which.

When you see the water splash in the tub.guess which one is the hot water.

5. Repeat several times. Keep score on your paper.

You should be able to guess correctly more than half the time.

Cold water is more dense（稠密的）than hot water.so a cup of cold water is just a little bit heavier than a cup of hot water.

When you pour hot water onto a hard surface，it splashes（濺起）around more than the cold water because it's less dense.
