In the world, soccer(or football) is the most popular sport. This is because many countries have
wonderful teams for the World Cup. The World Cup is held every four years.
     To remember the 2002 FIFA World Cup, children from different countries and more than 60 children
from Japanese schools came together and spent three weeks drawing a big picture called"Dream (夢(mèng)幻)
World Cup"in Japan. The children drew animals, flowers and people playing soccer under a bright blue
sky. They wished each football team good luck by drawing the flags (旗幟) of all countries that would take part in the World Cup in Japan and South Korea. The picture was put up in a park near a playground in
Yokohama.
     Are you a football fan? The World Cup makes more and more people interested in football.

     Who wants to carry a heavy bag to school? Not children. Nobody wants one shoulder to be lower than the other, and aching too. In India,  most people would look at the reduction(減少) of textbooks as a way out.  But in a country like America, there are always more choices. A company called goReader has created a "school bag" which is  as  small  as  a  laptop  computer (筆記本電腦) ,  weighing . about 2.5 kg. The goReader has a color screen and can "hold" any textbook that a student may need, says a report in The Asian. Age Newspaper.      
     The company plans to work closely with the publishers(出版社) of textbooks so that these books can be offered on the Internet.  All the students will have to do is to download(下載)  their textbooks.  Making notes and marking key parts of a lesson can be done just as students have usually done on their textbooks.

       In cold weather, 45 Japanese war orphans(孤兒) visited China to thank their Chinese foster(撫養(yǎng))
families.    
       The Japanese orphans were those who had been left behind by their parents after the eight-year
Japanese-Aggression War against China. Most of them are more than seventy years old. Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao met them in the Zhongnanhai compound tJll Nov. 11 and invited them to visit the former
residence (故居) and office of the late Premier Zhou Enlai. The thariksgiving gathering was organized to
express the war orphans' thanks to their foster families, but the visit was an emotional(激起感情的) one
because many of their foster narents had l)een deacl.    
       "We care about the living conditions（生活狀況）of the orphans after they returned to Japan, and
Ibelieve that everybody will live a happy life through their own efforts and by support from the Japanese
government," said Wen.
       Wen said the war orphans would feel again the love given by their foster parents and the deep
