根據(jù)后面“and have a great trip”,結(jié)合后文給出了很多建議,可知空處是說記住以下建議。故選A。

根據(jù)后面“behind the yellow line that runs down the edge of the platform(站臺邊緣)”可知,在站臺邊緣,自然是要“站在”沿著站臺邊緣的黃色線后面。故選A。

根據(jù)空前“The platforms can be narrow站臺很狹窄”及“going over the yellow line越過黃線”,結(jié)合常識可知,這是危險的。

look forward to期盼;pay attention to注意;come back to回到。

根據(jù)空前“On the train, there are usually special seats for elderly people.在火車上,通常有老年人的特殊座位”及空后“even if you are not sitting in one of these seats, it's polite to stand up and give your seat to elderly passengers.

So所以;Though雖然;while然而。根據(jù)空前“the train can be very crowded火車可能很擁擠”與空后“don't put your bag on the floor or on the seat next to you. 故選A。

to向,到;for給,為了;with和,帶有。根據(jù)空后“your bag under your seat”及空前sit,結(jié)合選項可知,空處是用with引導的短語,表示伴隨狀態(tài)。

we我們;you你們,你;they他們。根據(jù)空前“Passengers seldom speak on the phone”可知句子主語是passengers;結(jié)合空后句可知,空處是指前面的passengers,應(yīng)該用人稱代詞they代替。

根據(jù)后面“it's easy to get lost!

根據(jù)后面“If you have any problems, the workers at the train stations will always be happy to help you.”

When throwing away trash, do you know which bin it should go in? Some of you might not be able to answer this question. But it's very important to know how to deal with your waste. Not knowing how to deal with waste is harder to save energy and protect the environment.

If you don’t deal with your garbage, all of it will go to a landfill(垃圾場) and be buried together. These landfills can take up large areas of ground. The electronic waste you throw away can pollute the soil and groundwater. Other pieces of garbage can be used to make other things if they are properly recycled.

Many cities in China have taken actions in recent years. For example, Shanghai announced in July that it would divide the garbage into four groups: recyclable, hazardous(有害的), wet and dry.

Paper, metal, glass and other things that can be reused are called recyclable waste.

Hazardous waste includes things like medicine, batteries and fluorescent bulbs(熒光燈泡). These things are not recyclable.

“Wet” waste is also known as household waste. “They are things you don't want but that pigs can eat,” Guangzhou Daily explained.

Some waste such as plastic bags, beer bottles and other man-made things will go in the "dry waste” bin.

Many other Chinese cities plan to use this way to deal with their garbage. Let's encourage each other to deal with our waste well by sorting it to protect the environment.

A.Because it helps save energy and protect the environment.
