【題目】-Why are you in such a hurry, John?

-There____a basketball match between Class Three and our class in ten minutes.

A. is going to beB.is going to haveC.will haveD.will hold

【答案】A

【解析】

試題分析:句意:--為什么你如此匆忙,約翰?--十分鐘以后在三班和我們之間將有一次籃球比賽。根據(jù)in ten minutes可知,這里應(yīng)該用一般將來時(shí)。have不能與there be;亦無there hold的搭配。故選A。

【題目】根據(jù)短文內(nèi)容回答下列問題

Jake's Home Page

about me
diary
photos
e—mail
webcam
home

Once upon a time, a personal diary was something you kept hidden away. It was where you wrote down your most private thoughts and feelings, knowing that no one else would read it. Then along came the Internet, and now the idea of a private diary seems old—fashioned.
Many teenagers like writing online diaries because they feel free to write anything. “In real life, you can't always say what you think,” says Jake, an eighteen—year—old from New York. “On the Internet, you can express yourself more freely.” Fans of Jake's site log on to find out what he's been up to. What he's wearing and how he feels. He gets around two hundred letters a day from people who read his online diary.
Some people are not sure that online diaries are a good idea. “Teenagers need to be careful with what they write on a website,” says Patricia Chadwick. “You don't know who is visiting your website and whether they will try to find you,” she says. “It's playing with fire.”
Jake doesn't agree. “Sometimes people are a bit rude,” he says, “but I just pay no attention to them. Most of the feedback(反饋)I get is pleasant and hopeful.” He goes on, “people reading other people's diaries is nothing new. My brothers used to secretly read my diary when we were kids. The only difference is this one is seen by a lot more people!”

【題目】閱讀理解
It was nearly dark, the sun was dropping down the mountains far away. Little Tom came back home, with tears in his eyes.
“What's the matter, Tom? How's your trip?” his mother asked with a big smile. “I failed. The mountain is so high and full of big or small stones on the way, I still go ahead. But I was tired and it was so late that I had to come back.” Tom cried. “It doesn't matter, you are only 14 years old after all. You will have another chance.” his mother said. “But, standing at the top of the mountain is my dream!” Tom said. His father came over and asked, “Did you see the green trees on your way to the mountain?”“Sure, and there are a lot of beautiful flowers by the side of the road.” Tom replied. “Did you hear the birds singing?” his father asked. “There were many kinds of birds singing in the trees, and the sound was very sweet.” Tom said. “Did you feel the beauty of nature?” his father asked. “Yes, the blue sky, the white clouds, the green trees and the colorful flowers made a nice picture.” Tom answered. “That's enough!” his father smiled and said, “Please remember, son. For often, achieving what you expect is not the most important thing. Although you didn't reach the top of the mountain, you got a lot on the way.”
