Dear Tony,
As you know, China is a great country with a long history. You are supposed to shake hands when you meet someone for the first time. You are supposed to eat something with chopsticks instead of a fork , a knife. And you should sit at a table , holding a bowl of rice to eat. What’s more, it’s rude to stick the chopsticks into the food. It’s also impolite to point at anyone with your
chopsticks. The table manners in China is quite different from that in America. Don’t get nervous.
You will get used to it soon.
Best wishes!
Yours.
Li Hua
