What does a typical day look like for a high school student in the United States? Well, everyone's is very different. I can describe my normal day in high school for you.
Our school day usually went from 8: 30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. However, some days I had cheerleading(啦啦隊(duì)) practice or play practice at 6.30 a.m. If I had cheerleading practice I got ready at school, and if I had time, I ate breakfast at the school dining hall.
Then I would go towards my locker(寄物柜)and get my books for the first period. Each class went for about 50 minutes and we had 4 minutes to get to the next class. We studied everything from science to math and Spanish to P.E.
I played the violin in band, so one of my class periods was used for that. Lunch-time would be at 12: 30 p.m. and then we had some time to hang out outside or by our lockers. At the end of the day there was a discussion. It could be used for studying or meetings
After school, I would cheer at a basketball game, be a lifeguard(救生員) at work or have speech practice. My family always tried to have dinner together at around 7 p.m., but there wasn’t always time. I would finally start studying at around 8 or 9 p.m.
So there you have it! That's my typical day in high school.

Left foot, right foot, left foot, right foot…you can travel fast or slow. The movement of your feet gets you where you need to go. But it also gets you so much more! Walking is such basic, simple exercise that almost everyone can take part in it.
Walking helps you in many ways. First, it makes your heart stronger. Studies show regular walking lowers your chance of heart disease. Walking for 30 minutes per day also helps control blood pressure. It can reduce your chance of having a stroke or developing some cancers, too. Want to lose weight? You need to burn 600 more calories each day you eat. Walking is the easiest way to do that.
Walking helps your brain health. As people age, their brains don't work as well. One in 14 people over 65 years old suffers from memory loss. Older people who walk six miles or more per week keep their brains in better shape. Putting one foot in front of the other isn't difficult. You don't have to think about it, so you can consider other things. You can consider problems or think of ideas. You can think over conversations again or just remember funny things that have just happened recently.
Walking is also good for your wallet. It saves the cost of going to a gym. Walk quickly for 150 minutes each week to get a good workout. A pedometer(計(jì)步器) can get you started. Begin with trying to take 1, 000 steps in 10 minutes to set the right pace.
You can make walking part of your day. Instead of parking right next to your office, park a distance away and walk. Do not take the elevator, but walk. You can even have walking meetings. They are what they sound like. Rather than sit, you walk and talk things over.
Make walking a habit, and see how it makes you feel.

When the woman asked him to give her seat back, he refused and said that she had three choices– stand, take his seat or go to the dining car. A train attendant then tried to ask him to give the seat back. Sun said that he wasn’t able to stand on his own and asked for a wheelchair. Left with no other choices, the attendant led the woman to another seat, China Daily reported.
The video quickly spread online. Many internet users criticized (指責(zé)) Sun for his actions. Some even dug up his name, education and work history and posted the information online. In the end, Sun was fined 200 yuan and will not be allowed to buy train tickets for 180 days, the People’s Daily reported.
