But since 2015, toxic（有毒的）chemicals in running tracks have caused many students in several cities, including Shanghai, Beijing and Wuhan, to suffer from nosebleeds, headaches and coughs. The MOE has taken action in the last few years to keep playgrounds safe. Since 2016, it has invited experts and professionals（專業(yè)人員）to test new playgrounds at schools nationwide.
