I’m happy to receive your letter. You said you wanted to know something about Mid-Autumn Day. Now let me tell you. In China, one of the most popular festivals is Mid-Autumn Day. It is also the festival I like best. It comes on August 15th of the Chinese lunar calendar. Chinese people celebrate it to remember and honor Chang’e. On this day, people get together with their family. At night, they usually lay out mooncakes and fruit in the yard. They drink tea and eat mooncakes while they're admiring the moon.

There is a legend named Chang’e Flies to the Moon about this festival. I love Mid-Autumn Day not only because of this beautiful story, but the happy feeling of being with my family.
