When you sleep, do you ever realize that you are dreaming? If yes, then you sometimes have a lucid dream(清醒夢(mèng)) 【1】. Only some people are able to have them. Now scientists have found ways to help more people to have lucid dreams, Live Science reported.

First, people can train themselves to find out whether they are dreaming or not. For example, someone may look at a clock, look away, and then look back.【2】. Then, they might dream about this way while sleeping. However, in their dreams, the time on the clock may change very quickly. So people know they are dreaming.
Another way is to wake up after five hours of sleep.【3】. During this time, repeat the words, ""The next time I'm dreaming, I ' ll remember that I'm dreaming " Then, go to bed again to enter rapid eye movement (REM,快速眼球運(yùn)動(dòng)) sleep. In REM sleep, people are more likely to be aware of their dreams.
In a lucid dream, people might study a hobby and then become better at it in real life. For example, you might learn to play the piano in a lucid dream. 【4】.

B.The time should stay the same
C.it is hard for most people to have a lucid dream

The digital (數(shù)字的) age has come into our life. In the USA, some teachers think digital search tools(工具) have had a good influence on the American teenagers, but others don’t think so. More than 2,000 high school teachers took a survey on the Internet.
75 percent of the teachers agreed the Internet and digital search tools have had a “mostly good” use for their students’ research habits and skills. But 87 percent thought that these technologies “make the students not have enough attention.” And 64 percent said the technologies “do little to help them in courses.”
Judy Buchanan is a director of the National Writing Project. Ms. Buchanan says digital search tools are helping students learn more, and learn faster. Teachers really like these tools because they are ways to make some of learning very exciting. Young people enjoy using these tools. And the goal is to help them do creative work, and not just that kind of copyist (模仿者,抄寫(xiě)員).
But one problem is that many students don’t have a good understanding of how to use the digital knowledge well. In other words, they trust too much of the information. Judy Buchanan says these students have not developed the skills they need to tell whether the information on the Internet is good or bad.
Another problem is something that might not seem like a problem at all, being able to quickly find information from the Internet. Teachers say the ability of their students to work hard to find out answers is becoming weaker. They say students depend too much on search tools and do not make enough use of printed books.
Besides, many teachers are also worried about the problem that the Internet makes it easy for students to copy work done by others, instead of using their own abilities.

【題目】 In Britain,Boxing Day is usually celebrated on December 26th,which is the following day after Christmas Day.However, strictly speaking,Boxing Day is the first weekday after Christmas.Like Christmas Day,Boxing Day sing a public holiday. This means it’s a non﹣working day in the whole of Britain. When Boxing Day falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the following Monday is the public holiday.
The exact origin(起源)of the holiday is unclear. One of the thoughts is that during the Middle Ages, when great sailing ships were setting off to discover new land,a Christmas Box was placed by a priest (神父)on each ship. Those sailors who wanted to ensure a safe return would drop money into the box.It wassealed upand kept on board until the ship came home safely. Then the box was handed over to the priest in the exchange for the saying of a Mass of thanks for the success of the sailing. The priest wouldn’t open it to share the contents with the poor until Christmas.
One more thought is about the“Alms Box”placed in every church on Christmas Day.Worshippers (做禮拜的人)put gifts for the poor into it.These boxes were always opened the day after Christmas, that is why that day became know as Boxing Day.
Today, many businesses, organizations and families try to keep the traditional spirit of Boxing Day alive by donating(捐贈(zèng))their time, services and money to aid Food Banks, providing gifts for the poor,or helping families in need.Besides, spending time with family and shopping are popular Boxing Day activities now.
