When I was in Grade 7, I went to a new school because my family moved to a new town. I was a little shy. So I was worried about how I could get along with my new classmates and teachers. I worried that I can’t get used to teachers’ new ways of teaching. I also worried that I couldn’t make new friends there. On the night before the school started, my mom came to my room, sat on the bed and told me, “There is no need to worry. When you are friendly to people around you, they will be friendly to you. Believe in yourself.” Listening to these words, I had some courage. That day came. When I entered the classroom, I saw many smiling faces. I felt relaxed at once. The teacher were also very kind. I thought I was lucky.
