Professor Catarina Ferreira is a transportation expert who has studied the city’s traffic problems. “I understand why wealthy people use helicopters,” says Ferreira, “but it’s not good for the city. They’re noisy and they’re bad for the environment. Also, we really need to do something about Sao Paulo’s traffic problems.
