My ways of improving my memory

I think I have a poor memory. At home, I always leave the key to the door and forget to close the door. In the school, I always forget the words that my English teacher asks me to memorize. So I try a lot of ways in order to improve my memory. I often check if I have remembered to close the door before I go to school. After doing my homework, I always write the new words on the paper and read them many times until I remember them. Now my memory becomes better than before and I hope my memory will be better in the future.
