Zhu has become famous because of popular online shows like Guardian (《鎮(zhèn)魂》) and The Story of Ming Lan. His new show Skynet Action (《天網(wǎng)行動(dòng)》) came out on march 12. He plays a traffic officer on this show.

Zhu waited for 10 years to reach this level of fame. He is a graduate of the Beijing Film Academy. Since his first role in 2009, he has played nearly 40 roles. But most of them are not well-known.

This might be because of his personality. He is shy and quiet. He doesn’t say much during most of his interviews.

But this doesn’t bother Zhu. He said he would rather let his performances speak for him. Last year, he played three different roles on Guardian, including a college professor (教授), the professor’s brother and a peacekeeper. He had to come up with different ways to make the roles seem different from each other. He wore glasses while playing the professor, for example. He tried to use different facial expressions to show the roles’ different personalities.

“I never doubted myself. I just took roles one by one to get more experience,” he told Guangzhou Daily.

There are superstitions (A fa) about some numbers in China as well. For example, the number"4"is said to be unlucky because it sounds like the Chinese word for "death". But that's just one small example of China's superstitions about numbers.

When I first came here. I was surprised to see that many websites had numbers in their names instead of letters. I soon found that this is actually a matter of convenience, as Chinese

characters(漢字)cannot be used for website addresses. They can only use numbers or the letters of the Roman alphabet.

In pinyin, the telecom company Chine Unicom is called Zhongguo Liantong. If the company used their pinyin name for their website address,it would be quite long. So instead, they use their customer service hotline number--10010.com.This is easier to type and remember.

The regulation took effect on April 1. It requires those who are in charge of kindergartens, primary and secondary schools to eat with students in their cafeterias. Schools will also be required to make information regarding food sources and suppliers (供應(yīng)商) public.

Parents across China have become increasingly angry about food safety incidents in schools, according to The Beijing News.

The most recent example occurred in March at the Chengdu No 7 High Development School. Parents posted videos and photos of moldy (發(fā)霉的) food that was served in the school’s cafeteria, China Daily reported. The school’s principal was eventually fired.

In October, the head of an international school in Shanghai was fired after health and education authorities found moldy tomatoes and onions in the schools kitchen.
